One of Ace’s pillars is the collaboration with young local artists that exemplify the spirit of the brand. Every year, we chose an artist with whom we work closely to come up with a design for a limited silkscreen printed beach racket.
This year, we have teamed-up with the talented young artist and master printer Simone, in order to create a unique, special edition pair of beach rackets.
Simone is fresh back from a three-year spell in Japan where she mastered her craft and the art of traditional Japanese woodcarving. Her time inJapan shines through her beautiful patterned design and we are super-thrilled with the result as we are sure you will be too! The rackets name, kaze (pronounced kazé), is short for “Natsu no kazé” which stands for summer wind in Japanese.
The design is silk-screened by the artist herself at her studio (INTOTO Illustrations Studio). The rackets come in two different colour schemes; a coral, black and aqua for the 390gr racket and a pale-turquoise, black and aqua for the 360gr racket. The rackets are silk-screened in limited numbers and are therefore unique collectibles.
The rackets still retain all their distinctive high-end standards and qualities, to which we uphold all of our product and that means that whether you want to keep them over the fireplace as glorified bibelots or whether you wish to take them out at you nearest beach for a fun game they can do both!
